The principal recreation space of the Parish is the Parish Hall, the undercroft at St Augustine’s. It was totally refurnished in 2017, and is apprached from the outside via a pleasant and gently-sloping path: the entrance doors open automatically to access access for wheelchair users, prams etc. Click here for photos.
There is a large floor area and four alcoves on each side. There are toilet facilities and a modern catering-standard kitchen.
The hall is used for Summer and Christmas Fairs, Social evenings, Brownies, film nights and a host of other parish activities, and is available to hire for children’s and family parties, baptism and wedding receptions and various community activities.
